EAGLE ORTHOPAEDICS INFORMATION Eagle Orthopaedics is a full service orthotics and prosthetics facility located in Shannonville, Ontario. Since its opening in 1994, it is the only such facility between Kingston and Oshawa and is fully equipped for the design, manufacture and fitting of all types of artificial limbs, orthopaedic braces, shoe inserts and shoe modifications. It is also the only clinic of its kind to be situated on a native reserve. Our facility uses the technology of a Tracer CAD/CAM system and PDI2 carver. This is a computerized three dimensional imaging system that saves clinical time, thus enabling a faster turn around. We now offer central fabrication and our system is compatible with most CAD/CAM programs. If your facility currently uses CAD/CAM technology, we offer Central Fabrication for carving positive models and carving positive models and molding test sockets/AFO/spinal. If you do not have a CAD/CAM system, then it is still possible to make use of our central fabrication offer. We will provide measurement forms for Above knee prostheses, knee orthoses or spinal orthoses. These measurements will be applied to the template of your choice and a positive mold can be carved for you. A test socket or molding of the spinal jacket is also optional. This option is perfect for the client who has a very difficult time enduring the casting procedure.
